I'm totally impressed with your company and your product. When I got a damaged shipment, I got an overseas telephone call from the director of your company (Thanks Dianne!) and got the problem fixed quickly and totally to my satisfaction.

BEFORE IBSACOL:

1. When did your IBS begin? September, 2002

2. What were your worst symptoms ? explosive Diarrhoea, with "no time to spare," flatulence

3. What current medication were you taking? I don't take medication. I was using slippery elm (to firm up my stools) and acidophilase, or Iberogast, or Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics 12 PLUS (this last one way too expensive!) to add good bacteria. This treatment worked to a degree, but I did not feel it was actually solving the problem, that it was treating the symptoms only.

4. What other forms of treatment have you tried with or without success? None.

5. Did you need to adjust your diet ? I'm Vegan, I use no animal products, so there was no question of adjusting my diet. The problem may have been a lack of essential fats.

AFTER IBSACOL:

1. If we measure your IBS symptoms before using Ibsacol as 100 on a score of 100 to 1, by what amount have your IBS symptoms decreased since using Ibsacol ? 98, right now, I'm still fighting the flatulence a little. I had made the mistake of quitting IBSacol when I thought I was cured, only to have my problems return with a vengeance after about three weeks. So I've had to start over. I am now taking two capsules, three times a day. I'm confident that things will progress as they did the first time, where I decreased my dosage as symptoms disappeared. Only, this time I will be very careful to stop at an effective lifetime dose, probably one ore two caps a day. I'm sure I will get back to "100!"

2. If your overall quality of life was 0 before using Ibsacol, on a score of 1 - 10, where would you mark it now ? 9 1/2, right now.

3. Do you currently take any other medications for IBS other than Ibsacol? NO. If so, please name them.
